Kidz Prints Joins the DIY Big Freeze to Support FightMND

At Kidz Prints, we believe that being part of a community means supporting one another — not only during the good times, but also when families are facing difficult challenges.
This August, our Kidz Prints community is coming together to take part in the DIY Big Freeze, raising funds for FightMND and supporting the fight against motor neurone disease (MND), commonly known as motor neurone disease or MND.
This cause is particularly meaningful to our community, as one of the families within Kidz Prints continues to navigate the challenges associated with this disease.
A Day of Fun, Fundraising and Community Spirit
Our DIY Big Freeze event will be held at:
Friday, 21 August 2026
3:30pm – 5:00pm
Kidz Prints Playground, 102 Lagoon St, Narrabeen NSW 2101
Families are invited to join us for an afternoon filled with fun, activities, treats, fundraising and, of course, our very own Big Freeze!
One of the most exciting parts of the afternoon will be the ice bucket challenge. Our children will have the opportunity to vote for the educators they would most like to see take on the challenge.
We are also inviting brave mums, dads and family members to volunteer and join in the fun!

Community events like the DIY Big Freeze provide children with opportunities to learn important values beyond the classroom.

Bringing Our Kidz Prints Community Together
Our Easter and Christmas celebrations have shown us how special it is when children, educators and families come together.
The DIY Big Freeze gives us another opportunity to bring our community together — this time for an important cause.
While the afternoon will be filled with laughter, activities and plenty of fun, the reason behind the event is something we will all remember.
Every donation, raffle ticket and act of participation can help contribute to the important work of FightMND.
Join Us for the Big Freeze
We would love for our Kidz Prints families to join us on Friday, 21 August for an afternoon of community, fundraising and fun.
Due to space limitations, we kindly ask that a maximum of four family members per family attend, not including children.
If everyone in your family is unable to attend, you can still support the fundraiser by sharing our fundraising page with friends and family.
Raffle tickets will also be available at Kidz Prints during the week leading up to the event.
Most importantly, we hope this event reminds our children that being part of a community means looking out for one another.
