Celebrating Mother’s Day at Kidz Prints Preschool

Mother’s Day is always a special occasion at Kidz Prints Preschool, and this year was filled with beautiful moments, laughter, creativity, and heartfelt memories shared between children and their mums.

To celebrate the day, we invited all of our wonderful mums into the centre for a special morning tea. Families enjoyed a relaxed and joyful morning together while taking part in a range of activities designed to create meaningful connections and lasting memories.

Throughout the centre, children and mums participated in painting, drawing, craft activities, and imaginative salon play where mums could have their “hair and nails done” by their little ones. Some families chose to sit quietly together and read stories, enjoying simple moments of connection in the classroom environment.

One of the highlights of the morning was seeing the excitement on the children’s faces as they proudly shared their handmade gifts and special messages with their mums. Around the classrooms, mums could read heartfelt notes written by the children explaining why they love their mothers so much.

The children also shared some beautiful answers during conversations with their educators:

“Doing Lego and craft with mummy.”

“Playing blocks.”

“Going on the trampolines with mummy.”

And one especially touching response:“Because mummy cuddles me.”

These simple but genuine answers reminded us that, for children, love is often found in the smallest everyday moments — cuddles, playtime, stories, and simply being together.

At Kidz Prints, we value opportunities to celebrate the important people in our children’s lives and to strengthen the connection between families and our learning community.
